When we started planning our wedding, we spent hours looking at photographers online and the moment we came across John’s website we were instantly drawn to his photographs and his unique modern feel for photography. Due to travel arrangements etc. we had a lot of communication with John in the months leading up to the wedding and this was nothing but a pleasure. Paris isn’t an easy place to get pictures as it’s extremely busy in the middle of summer (August) but John took care of everything, we felt like the only two people there when we were getting our photos taken. We would recommend John to everyone, regardless of the location of your wedding, he captures the whole day perfectly and it’s topped off with a perfect slideshow that will remain with you forever. We can’t even begin to write down all the “other” tasks John helped out with on our wedding, as the list is endless. He is worth every single penny and much more.
“We have been absolutely blown away by the amazing photos taken by John at my daughter Samantha’s wedding. John was there all day but never once got in the way or interfered with everyone enjoying themselves. He managed to capture the day perfectly. Only a true artist can compose pictures like that. Thank you so much John for giving us magnificent memories of a truly perfect day”
We first saw John’s work as he did a friend’s wedding which we were both really impressed with. When we first met John, we both knew pretty quickly that he had to be the photographer for us – he was just a nice, down to earth guy that instantly made us feel at ease. John was also the photographer for one of our friends who got married a month before us, again we were really impressed with his professionalism. We did an engagement shoot in Luss and even though we were nervous about being in front of the camera, John managed to make us feel not only relaxed, but we had such a great laugh!.
John did my sisters wedding the year before so we met him here previously, we never really met him again till the week of our wedding. As soon as John started he was like part of the family and the quality of the photos were amazing so without thinking as soon as my wife and I set a date we booked John. We met with him at our venue so he could get a chance to see where he could get the best photos. like the year before he was part of the family and bonded with everyone, however, quietly blending in, to get beautiful, high quality and natural photographs as well as great group photos before, during and after the wedding. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and John really did capture the day just the way we wanted it. I would and have recommended him to as many friends as possible. We thought John was great. From Aiko – John is an excellent photographer and was really great to work with on our big day. My family had come over to Scotland for the wedding and John made sure to take loads of excellent photos of my bridesmaids, my mom, and our family and friends who had come from abroad. I love the slideshow he provided – it really captures the spirit of the day. The quality of the photos is really superb, but I think the best part is how quickly John was able to get the photos back to us. He had some highlight shots available online on his website by the next day, and he had the slideshow for us in record time, as we planned to show it at our mini-reception in Los Angeles. We only had one chance to get our wedding day right, and we put our trust in John to capture it; he exceeded all of our expectations!
From Stuart – I was over the moon with the results of our John Johnston wedding shoot. I was totally amazed with the range of photos he took – great portraits, really evocative candid shots, and capturing so many little details and exchanges that we might otherwise have missed. John is incredibly personable and easy going, and managed to put Aiko and I totally at ease, getting some great shots in spite of our usual camera shyness.
