How long have you been photographing weddings?
I have been photographing weddings professionally for over 17 years and love every second of it.

Do you have all the necessary insurance required?
Absolutely. I have public liability and professional indemnity insurances as well as camera equipment insurance. These can be provided to wedding venues if required.

What do you deliver?
I typically deliver around 1000 high quality, fully edited in my own style, hi resolution images with no watermarks. These are your images to keep and you can print them out as many times as you like and as big as you like, they are all yours. You’ll also have you own private online gallery. More on that below.

Do you need a whole list of images I require?
No, not at all. I mostly shot in a documentary style on your day and let the day unfold naturally. However, prior to your wedding day I’ll send you over an online questionnaire form to fill in for me with any groups you may want, these are generally immediate family members and your bridal party etc. I recommend keeping this to the essentials and keeping it to around 10 groups or less. Having photographed 100’s of weddings, some folk think they want masses of group photos only to scrap it on the day. Keep it to the essentials and leave yourself more time to enjoy your day. 🙂

Do you photograph weddings outside of the Glasgow area?
I certainly do. I photograph weddings all over Scotland. The first 100 miles are included from my office in Glasgow, for any weddings further afield, a standard fee of £200 is charged for accommodation.

How much is your deposit?
Deposit is £300 and this is to secure your date with me. I’ll then mark this date down as your date and no other work will be taken.

What if we need to reschedule?
If you need to reschedule please contact me asap. I’m more than happy to move your deposit over to your new date providing I am free. If I have another wedding booked on this date, your deposit is non-refundable. If your new wedding date is over 12 months from your original date, there may be a slight increase in price to reflect that years pricing.

How many hours do you stay for our wedding?
I offer 2 options but depending on your date I can be super flexible if you require even shorter coverage.
Option 1 is morning prep to pre dinner speeches.
Option 2 is morning prep to the dancing at night.
I also offer elopement packages.

Do you offer a second shooter?
Yup. If you were wanting more coverage of the groom morning prep and more candid photos of your guests throughout the day this is a great option.

My wedding isn’t for another year. How many times do we need to meet up during that time period?
I will contact you 4 weeks prior to your wedding day but I always tell my couples to email or call me if they have any questions throughout that period. 4 weeks before the big day I’ll be in touch to get any updated info I may need and we can schedule a meet up, either in person, phone call or zoom, whatever is easier and more convenient for you.

What albums/products do you have and can I see a sample of them before my wedding day?

How long do I have to wait for my photos after my wedding?
I always aim to have them done within 3-4 weeks but it’s generally a little sooner than that. All of my packages include some previews 24hrs after your wedding day to download and share.

Do you offer a gallery online for family and friends to view our images?
I certainly do. You will have access to your own beautiful online gallery with every single image from your wedding day. If you would like to see a sample gallery from a complete wedding from start to finish, please let me know. You’ll be amazed at how stunning these galleries look and how easily they are to navigate, even on your phone.

Can prints be ordered from here?
Yes they can. All done securely via an online shopping cart that’s very easy to navigate. I also run little promotions too so look out for them when you access your gallery.

What if you are unable to attend my wedding?
Scary question but it’s a legitimate question. I’ve yet to miss a wedding but if I did I have a whole host of amazing wedding photographers with similar style to me who could step up. I’m blessed to have a tremendous circle of talented folk in this industry and we are all there to help each other if and when needed.
