Wedding Slideshow – Karen & Neale – Strathblane Country House Hotel

I thought id post up the slideshow from Neale & Karen’s wedding as ive had a few folk asking to see it.
Something ive wanted to do more of during a given wedding is add some video to the day. I need to come up with a system that allows for this whilst still catching the important images throughout the day. Ive added a little video footage to this along with the stills and hopefully the more i do it the more i can incorporate this into my future wedding work.

Today i received a nice little thank you letter in the post from Darryl and Morven.
They got married up in The Cornhill House hotel back in May. Its always nice to receive Thank you emails from clients but to receive a Thank you letter was a nice surprise.

Gary & Aileen – Lesmahagow Wedding

Gary & Aileen got married last Friday at The Avonbridge Hotel in Hamilton. Come 4pm on their wedding day they were flying out for their honeymoon, so i wasnt there to photograph any first dance or reception ( obviously )
Weather wise it was supposed to rain but we got lucky and the sun was shining so we made use of the Avonbride hotel’s grounds.

Ok folks. Ive been itchin to post these for a few days now. I wanted to wait until i got the slideshow made so i could post that as well as some images.

As mentioned a few days back when i posted 1 or 2 images from Darryl & Morven’s wedding, they got married at the Cornhill House Hotel in Biggar. we couldn’t have asked for better weather on the day and everything went as planned. In fact, as far as i know only one problem happened, and that was the wee page boy’s hired shoes from his wee kilt didnt fit properly. No time to get another pair of black shoes so we were told by the kilt shop to cut them at either side so he could fit into them. It certainly did the trick and away he went

You’ll notice from the slideshow that ive added some video too. Not as much as id hope to do but at the end of the day, the photos are more important, but hopefully the more and more i use it i can hopefully get some more footage at other weddings.

Anyway’s, enough of me. Below are some images as well as Darryl & Morven’s slideshow.

Andy & Kasia’s Wedding – Greenbank Parish Church ( Full Post )

Following on from yesterday’s sneek peek of Andy & Kasia’s wedding, here is the full post.
As i was only there to photograph their ceremony as they didnt have a big wedding then we dont have any bridal prep shots in the morning or first dance photos to share but the shots we did get are fantastic , as both Andy & Kasia gave me some time after the ceremony to get some images on the grounds of the church.

Andy contacted me a few months ago asking me to cover just their ceremony. No bridal prep shots, speeches or first dance.
I happily said that was fine of course. Both Andy and Kasia were great and we managed to get some great images during and after the ceremony all on the grounds of Greenbank Parish Church.
