Hope everyone has a great Christmas and an even better New Year.
Thanks to everyone who frequents my blog and sends me comments and feedback. With over 100,000 unique hits to this blog in the past year and a busy year for my business, i couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Another year, another ” best of ” post.
This year has been amazing for my business and long may it continue. Alot of photo sessions with lots of families as far out as Stirling, Balloch and Edinburgh which im very privileged to be doing as i know there are alot of other Baby/kids photographers in these areas they could easily have picked, but they chose me, so thank you all

I even had the honour of photographing Darryl & Morven’s first born , little Tyler.

Anyways, like 2009 and 2010 i thought i’d keep the trend up and post a collection of some of my favourite baby/kids sessions i shot throughout 2011.

Yun Hong & Lynne – Glasgow Cathedral Wedding Dvd Slideshow

Yun Hong and Lynne got married at Glasgow Cathedral. From there we went onto Peoples Palace then onto SeeWoo restaurant for their reception.

It’s fair to say the weather was the worst I’ve ever had shooting a wedding but that didn’t stop them from having fun and it never dampened their spirits, not once. The weather was that bad that there was no way at all to get outside for any photos ( apart from one ) which was a pity as both Glasgow Cathedral and People’s Palace are great venue’s.

It was an absolute joy to photograph this wedding and it being my first traditional Chinese wedding i was a little nervous at first but Yun and Lynne made it so easy with them being so relaxed and easy going through the whole day.

Thanks again guys for allowing me to be part of your day.
Now on with the slideshow. I’ll post up a whole bunch of images in the next few days. The slideshow is on for a little longer than my others but with it being such a long day and having taken a recoed number of photos i felt the amount ive put in here represents their whole day from beginning to end, there was many other i wanted to add but i’ll leave that for my next blog post so stay tuned

Typical scottish weather

Having just came back from Barcelona, im faced with this. I thought i’d make up a wee video so when i eventually move to a hot country i can look back on this and laugh.

Nah, in all seriousness. Scotland is a beautiful country ( see some of my other videos and you will see why, here and here etc ), i just wish we could have less days like this one. terrible weather.

I found it quite fitting to have this post just above all my hot and sunny Barcelona posts. Oh i miss you Barcelona.

Ben Lomond climb – Macmillan cancer support

Me and a few others had a hike up Ben Lomond on Sunday 14th August 2011 in aid of Macmillan cancer support. We managed to raise well over £1000. Thanks to all involved and for those who donated.

Andy & Eileen – 1-8-11 – Wedding Slideshow

Andy & Eileen got married on the 1st August at Henderson church in Kilmarnock, followed by their reception at The Savoy Park hotel in Ayrshire. A very relaxed wedding day, which is what both Andy & Eileen asked for.

Chris & Natalie’s Wedding Slideshow – The Millennium Hotel Glasgow

Chris & Natalie got married at The Millennium Hotel in Glasgow’s city centre on 23rd July. Possibly the hottest day ive ever shot a wedding, apart from Scott & Lisa’s wedding in Alicante, Spain in 2007.

George Square was also very busy that afternoon but we still managed to head out and make use of the great weather.

I’ll post up images over the next few days but for now, here is their slideshow.
