Ok, well its not really a product review as im rubbish at that sort of stuff but i wanted to blog this new product.
Its the portable dolly camera system from Glidetrack
I was surprised to see that the company who makes these are based 10 minutes away from me. I just gathered that they were based in America. They ship these systems all around the world and they are growing very very popular since the introduction of HD video built into DSLR’s.
You just need to head over to Youtube or Vimeo and search for Glidetrack and there are hundreds of videos with this system.
I gave Alastair from Glidetrack a quick call and he says i could pop along and check the system out.
Top bloke![]()
Seeing as i stay not too far away i popped along last night to try it out. Needless to say i bought it there and then![]()
Im obviously a stills photographer but i want to add a tiny bit of video to my weddings to add that little bit of variety and in my opinion this system makes it look that more professional.
Below are some images of the system as well as a quick video i made up this morning of my ever present nephew, Logan. who i think has more posts on this site than anyone else![]()
For more information on the Glidetrack pop over to their website at http://www.glidetrack.com/
- I have a quick release plate on the bottom which allows me to quickly attach it to my tripod for more versatility
To watch the video simply click on the play button. If your computer is fast enough and you have a fast internet connection then full screen with HD enabled for optimal quality. Otherwise disable HD on the video.
These options are on the video below.
