Tron Theatre – Address Unknown – Production Stills

Just a few stills from Tron Theatre’s show Address Unknown, with James Macpherson and Benny Young.

Taken from the Tron Theatre’s website…
1932. Two friends, Max in San Francisco and Martin in Munich, correspond affectionately through a series of letters. Jokey and intimate their longstanding friendship is suddenly thrown into crisis by the Nazis’ gradual rise to power. For Max is a Jew, and Martin’s blind enthusiasm for his new masters leads first to tragedy and then to a calculated act of revenge.

Originally published as a short story in 1938, Address Unknown is a gripping tale which became a literary sensation and was subsequently banned in Germany. This adaptation captures the voices and the personal struggles of those caught up in the rise of Fascism. It is also a riveting piece of theatre, building to a terrible sting in the tail.

    Some facebook love...
