Nostalgic memories from the 80s

Although i was born in 1980 i still remember the 80s alot. Particularly the late 80s.
I saw this on Youtube and had to throw it up here too.

I loved the 80′s :)
Although im none too happy to not see a Goonies clip up there so im showing a trailer of this too. Possibly the best movie of all time.
If you havent seen this, well shame on you. :)

Random Image Of The Week – My Old School – Crookston Castle

Well, not quite. Although my school was called Crookston castle Secondary school, this image isnt of the actual school :)

My school was built just down from the castle and i guess thats where it got its name from. Although to be fair, when i was there, the school looked as if it was built at the same time as the castle itself.

The school has since been torn down with a new one in its place, but the castle ( or should i say whats left of it ) remains. I hate when things from my childhood get torn down. All those memories, gone. :(

See here for more info on Crookston Castle if your interested, im sure there are a few Americans out there who follow my blog would be keen to read this, maybe.
And that, my friends, is our history lesson for today :)

Scottish Epilepsy Initiative – Their Sahara trek

Following up from my blog post at the start of the month when 13 fundraisers set off on a trek of the Sahara desert to raise funds for The Scottish Epilepsy Initiative.

Fundraiser, Susan Sheridan kindly sent me some of the images they had taken over there for me to post on here. Such an amazing achievement from every one of them and for such a great cause.
