This is the first wedding ive shot were the Bride and Groom met up before the actual ceremony.
This is quite a popular thing over in other parts of Europe and America but not so much over here. Makes a welcome change however.
They were both staying at The Pond Hotel in Glasgow so we got some images here before heading off.
The ceremony took place at Charles Rennie Mackintosh church in Glasgow. As much as its a beautiful building, in December it has to possibly be the darkest church to photograph a wedding, but before the ceremony we went to Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens to get some images.
Weather wise it wasnt the best, the rain was on and off all day and it proved quite difficult with Kirsty wedding dress as most places the floor was wet.
Here is a pick of the shots from the day.
- Duncan going over his Speech
- A typical hotel room when the Groom and Groomsmen get a hold of it :-)
- Duncan seeing Kirsty for the first time on the day
- Getting ready to head to the Ceremony
- The “Dark Church” :-)
- The most unusual wedding cake ive seen. Looked amazing though
- George grabbed this shot. sneaky :-)
- and here is the shot i got
